It is not safe to take drugs at any time while you are pregnant. Using meth when you are pregnant can cause your baby to have a stroke or brain damage before it's born, be premature, have a low birthweight, or cause your baby to be born with birth defects. Your baby may have difficulty with gaining weight and is at risk for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
If you're pregnant and need help staying tobacco and drug free, call babies First at 1-800-640-0333.
We'll help you find confidential help.
